Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes Global Tax Group is recruiting for a Senior Manager, APAC Tax Compliance, located in Singapore. This role is responsible for direct and indirect tax compliance for the APAC region and collaborates with external partners to ensure timely filings and accurate tax computations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including corporate and indirect tax experience.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese helpful for local regulatory and business interactions.
• CPA or equivalent professional tax certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Governance of external partners assisting with recurring direct and indirect tax compliance for all APAC entities.
• Contracting, scope and fee negotiation.
• Monitoring KPI’s, balanced scorecard.
• Ensuring efficient data access and collaboration with finance teams.
• Ensure timely filing of direct and indirect tax filings, including review of tax computations with external partners.
• Partner with finance, business and other groups to enable efficient tax compliance processes.
• Collaborate with Tax Counsel and Planning on local tax aspects of transactions and structures, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with Transfer Pricing and Disputes on TP documentation, audits and APAs.
• Engage with Pillar 2 and country-by-country reporting in local jurisdictions.
