Job summary

Gates Corporation in Singapore seeks a senior tax leader to head APAC corporate tax, transfer pricing, and compliance. You will partner with HQ and regional teams to optimize tax positions, manage audits, and steer tax planning across the region.

The role requires a CPA or MBA in Tax, a minimum of 10 years’ multinational tax experience, and strong knowledge of ASC 740 and FAS 109. Travel within APAC is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA in Tax preferred.
• 10+ years of corporate tax experience in a multinational or large firm.
• Strong knowledge of FAS 109 and ASC 740.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within APAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC regional tax compliance and transfer pricing strategies.
• Oversee quarterly tax provisions and uncertain positions per GAAP.
• Collaborate with HQ tax and regional finance to set intercompany charges.
• Manage audits and liaison with authorities on tax matters.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the tax team.
