Job summary

Anthropic seeks an experienced APAC Tax Lead based in Singapore to own direct tax compliance and advisory across Asia‑Pacific entities, including Japan, Korea, India, Singapore, Australia, and Taiwan. You will partner with our Dublin and San Francisco teams to build tax infrastructure for rapid international expansion.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of corporate tax in APAC jurisdictions.
• Experience with transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements.
• Expertise in withholding tax and treaty analysis across APAC.
• Professional qualification such as CPA/CA/CTA.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC direct tax compliance and advisory across entities.
• Coordinate with external advisors for filings in multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements.
• Oversee withholding tax positions and treaty relief for cross-border flows.
• Advise on permanent establishment risks and entity structuring.
• Support regional tax aspects of infrastructure expansion and payroll taxes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and People teams on tax matters.
• Engage with local tax authorities and assist audits.
