Job summary

LEGO System A/S in Singapore is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist on a 12-month contract to optimize APAC transportation operations through data analytics and KPI-driven insights. You will partner with carriers and logistics providers, monitor shipment milestones, and support regional initiatives to reduce freight costs, improve service levels, and enable data-driven decision making across the network.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in transportation/logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics or supply chain analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in APAC transportation operations and ocean freight.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end shipment visibility across APAC transportation network.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders to investigate delays and drive corrective actions.
• Provide proactive updates and insights to supply chain, customer service, planning and commercial teams on shipment status and risks.
• Analyze recurring transportation KPIs and freight spend to identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Monitor carrier performance against SLAs and support tenders, network optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Generate reports and provide shipment volume forecasts to support planning and capacity decisions.
