Job summary

The LEGO Group in Singapore is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist/Analyst to leverage data analytics to optimize transportation operations across the APAC network. You will drive freight performance, cost efficiency, and carrier service levels while supporting data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment.

The role requires 5+ years in transportation or supply chain analytics, strong Excel skills, and experience with Power BI/Tableau.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics.
Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain analytics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in APAC transportation operations.
Experience with ocean freight and carrier management.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Understanding of freight management KPIs.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end shipment visibility across the APAC transportation network by monitoring milestones and risks.
Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to resolve delays and improve performance.
Provide updates and insights to supply chain, customer service, planning, and commercial teams on shipment status and risks.
Analyze transportation exceptions to identify root causes and implement improvements.
Monitor KPIs such as freight spend, lead time, delivery accuracy, and service reliability.
Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly transportation reports and insights.
Provide weekly shipment volume forecasts to freight forwarders for planning.
Monitor performance against contracts and SLAs with service providers.
Support tendering, optimization projects, and cross-functional teams with data-driven decisions.
Provide analytical insights to improve transportation performance and support strategic initiatives.
