Job summary

Meta is seeking a Network Development Manager for APAC to lead subsea cable investments, capacity and dark fiber leases, and network infrastructure development. Qualifications

• BA/BSc or equivalent in a technical or business-related field.
• Experience in subsea cables, fiber infrastructure, and carrier market players; familiarity with evolving commercial trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop supply strategies, including joint build efforts with partners.
• Manage portfolio of subsea systems and fiber infrastructure suppliers globally, with APAC focus.
• Identify suppliers, negotiate terms, and work with engineering and legal to execute contracts.
• Drive end-to-end execution of complex infrastructure projects across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop partner relationships across diverse countries.
• Oversee contract lifecycle, ensure supplier compliance, process invoices, and renegotiate as needed.
• Understand subsea and telecom wholesale markets to position Meta competitively.
• Represent Meta network team at conferences and trade shows.
• Monitor market price trends to secure favorable terms for Meta.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop network requirements and investment strategies; provide investment analyses for approvals.
• Work with finance and planning to develop budgets and long-range investment plans; coordinate with accounting for invoices.
