Job summary

PwC Singapore is seeking an Associate to join the Strategic Capital Solutions team, focusing on structured capital advisory and deal execution within APAC. In this rotational programme you will gain exposure to M&A, infrastructure opportunities, and debt restructuring while building a broad Deals foundation.

You will work with senior bankers, develop financial models, and learn to craft teasers and information memoranda for fundraising. The role develops across deals competencies.

Qualifications

• Final year Accountancy, Business, Economics and Finance students from local and overseas universities.
• Excellent academic (minimum 2nd class upper) and co-curricular achievement record.
• Strong interest in finance, investment banking, private credit and / or private equity
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Previous internship experience or active membership in Corporate Finance or Investment Banking clubs is a plus with prior financial modelling experience.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to balance work and fun and be a positive influence to the team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior team members from deal origination to execution of live transactions, with responsibilities including:
• Research and carry out business and financial analysis for assessing suitable capital structure solutions and operational / strategic optimisation
• Build comprehensive financial models and perform financial analysis to support client strategic decisions
• Craft teasers and confidential information memorandum to market fundraising deals
• Participate in strategic and operational brainstorming sessions with the wider PwC deals team to help create tailored solutions for clients
