Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager in London to lead a five-person team supporting Enterprise and SME sales across EMEA. You will partner with Engineering Leads, Product Managers, and executives to deliver product demos, craft solutions, and own technical components of the sales cycle.

You will manage performance, enable the team to meet customer needs and oversee go-lives while ensuring processes and capabilities support our global growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with strong academic achievements.
• 8+ years in customer-facing engineering roles in a global software enterprise; 2+ years in team leadership.
• Strong organizational/time management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities while working with multiple opportunities and customers.
• Executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and build credibility at all levels.
• Preferred: knowledge of payments domain or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage team outcomes, deliver OKRs, and determine resource allocation to meet schedules and objectives; recommend changes to policies and establish procedures for the immediate team.
• Become an expert on Airwallex's financial infrastructure platform and its role in driving the digital economy, helping organisations grow their business globally.
• Lead the RFP management process and collaborate closely with commercial, product, engineering, legal, and operations teams to drive consistency and accuracy in RFP responses.
• Think on your feet and leverage experience in customer-facing or consulting roles to craft complex solutions and oversee go-live outcomes, owning the most challenging solution projects.
