Job summary

Adyen Singapore is seeking a Team Lead - Software Engineer to guide a team of engineers responsible for building and evolving Adyen's APAC payment integrations. You will partner with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure payment capabilities and ensure we meet local market needs.

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Software Engineers, supporting their technical and professional growth.
• Foster a high-performing engineering culture built on ownership, collaboration and continuous learning.
• Partner closely with Product Managers to translate business priorities into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive the technical direction of the team, balancing product delivery with platform scalability and maintainability.
• Guide architectural discussions and engineering decisions related to APM integrations and payment processing.
• Build and evolve integrations with alternative payment methods across the APAC region.
• Ensure payment integrations are reliable, secure and scalable with proper error handling.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Architects to improve engineering practices.
• Act as escalation point for complex technical challenges and trade-offs.
• Improve engineering quality through testing, observability and developer productivity.
• Contribute to Adyen's APM strategy in APAC with local market considerations.
