Job summary

BCG Expand seeks a Sales Director for APAC to drive new business and expand the client base among leading banks, wealth managers, and asset managers. You will own priority accounts, manage a robust pipeline, and collaborate with delivery, product, and regional teams to close deals.

The role requires a proven record in selling analytics or advisory products to financial institutions, with multi-stakeholder negotiation skills and fluency in an Asian language preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in selling benchmarks, data, analytics, or advisory products to financial institutions.
• Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder or consortium-style sales.
• Fluency in an additional Asian language (ideally Japanese, Mandarin or Cantonese) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by identifying, approaching, and closing banks, wealth managers, and asset managers across APAC.
• Own and develop a set of priority accounts, building relationships and expanding penetration.
• Build and manage your pipeline from first outreach through to contract.
• Sell across the Expand portfolio, creating multi-benchmark opportunities within each client.
• Engage buyers across global markets, retail, corporate banking, wealth, and asset management, plus support functions.
• Position benchmarks around client priorities: growth, cost reduction, and investment.
• Coordinate account strategy with partners and regional teams to create referrals and cross-sell opportunities.
• Represent BCG Expand at client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
• Maintain accurate pipeline records and provide forecasts and market feedback to leadership.
