Job summary

Hines in Singapore is seeking a Real Estate Summer Analyst Intern to join our investment management and development teams. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting underwriting, lease analysis, and market research on live projects.

You'll work with seasoned professionals, handling data gathering, asset management inputs, and assisting with market analyses. This role is ideal for students in their second or final year seeking exposure to global real estate practices.

Qualifications

• Students from any academic discipline will be considered; however, a strong math and quantitative aptitude is required.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Argus experience a plus, but not required.
• Creative problem solver.
• Ability to prioritize/coordinate multiple projects.
• Current second-year and third-year will be considered along with final-year who will be immediately entering a graduate program.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience by working with an assigned team specializing in specific functions within the Commercial Real Estate Investment Management and/or Development.
• Assist with the underwriting and lease analysis of new projects and asset management of operating properties.
• Provide research support and assistance by gathering data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, tenants in the market, and input data into appropriate databases.
• Possible assignments include new development projects, acquisitions and dispositions, and asset management.
• Work with Hines’s top-quality assets under the guidance of seasoned real estate professionals.
• Support processes and decisions that impact Hines’ properties through market research, due diligence and financial analysis.
