Job summary

PIMCO is seeking a Private Strategies Intern for the APAC region in Singapore. The intern will support underwriting and sourcing, structuring and executing transactions across APAC jurisdictions, gaining exposure to the investment process and multiple asset classes.

You'll work with senior staff, build cash flow models, prepare memos, assist due diligence, and explore AI-powered tools to enhance analysis. This 10-week program runs from early June to mid-August with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergrad or master's degree with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Business proficiency in English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
• Available to commit to the full 10-week program from early June to mid-August.
• Familiarity with basic financial modeling and market research.
• Interest in private strategies and investment finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite complex investments within APAC asset finance.
• Develop cash flow models for potential investments.
• Prepare investment memos for senior portfolio managers.
• Assist with due diligence including business plans and legal coordination.
• Support financing activities and evaluate options with lenders.
• Conduct market research to identify new investment themes.
