Job summary

PIMCO in Singapore is offering a 10-week Summer Internship in Portfolio Management - Special Situations Team, APAC. The intern analyst will focus on underwriting and assist in sourcing, structuring and executing transactions across APAC jurisdictions, gaining exposure to all aspects of the investment process.

You will use AI-powered tools from day one, receive mentorship and feedback, and join cross-divisional events.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Master's student with expected graduation Dec 2027–Jun 2028.
• Available to begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between Jan 2028–Aug 2028.
• On track to achieve a minimum bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Business proficient in English; proficiency in any Asian languages is a plus.
• Availability to commit to the full 10-week program duration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with underwriting, sourcing, structuring and executing APAC transactions.
• Develop and maintain cash flow models for potential investments.
• Prepare investment memos for senior portfolio managers and committees.
• Assist due diligence including business plans and coordination of legal/technical underwrites.
• Support financing options and conduct market research to identify themes.
