Google Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned public policy leader to shape and influence technology policy across APAC.

You will educate policymakers, advise internal teams, and coordinate with global partners to articulate coherent public policy positions for Google's platforms and devices. Key responsibilities include developing regional trade strategies, managing cross-market initiatives, and building strategic relationships with industry stakeholders and government entities to advance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience working on technology policy issues within government, think tanks, public interest groups, law, or relevant industry associations.
10 years of experience working in public affairs, political communications, or political campaigns, or within government.

Responsibilities

Influence cross-organizational collaborations to align team decisions with overarching policy objectives.
Manage multiple complex, cross-market workstreams in support of the director.
Develop and lead the trade strategy for Platforms and Devices in APAC, in close coordination with Washington DC and key markets based teams.
Build and manage relationships with the industry stakeholders (including the US embassies in key markets), assess the need for industry associations or coalitions, and develop relevant strategic plans.
Create new ways to advance our equities, with a particular focus on the APAC market.
