Job summary

Google LLC in Singapore is seeking a Manager, APAC External Engagement for Platforms and Devices, Government Affairs and Public Policy. The role focuses on shaping technology policy and cross-border collaborations to support innovation.

You will educate policymakers, advise internal teams on political landscapes, and coordinate with global colleagues to advocate Google’s public policy priorities across APAC. Strong leadership in trade strategy is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience working on technology policy issues within government, think tanks, public interest groups, law, or relevant industry associations.
• 10 years of experience working in public affairs, political communications, or political campaigns, or within government.

Responsibilities

• Influence cross-organizational collaborations to align team decisions with overarching policy objectives.
• Manage multiple complex, cross-market workstreams in support of the director.
• Develop and lead the trade strategy for Platforms and Devices in APAC, in close coordination with Washington DC and key markets based teams.
• Build and manage relationships with the industry stakeholders (including the US embassies in key markets), assess the need for industry associations or coalitions, and develop relevant strategic plans.
• Create new ways to advance our equities, with a particular focus on the APAC market.
