APAC Process Safety Leader

Job summary

Brenntag seeks a Process Safety Manager to lead regional PSM across APAC chemical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with corporate standards. You will work with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to embed a strong safety culture and improve process safety performance.

Responsibilities include developing regional PSM strategy, delivering training, supporting capital projects, leading incident investigations, and coordinating audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, distribution, or bulk liquid terminal operations.
• Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management systems (e.g., OSHA PSM, CCPS guidelines).
• Certification such as CSP or equivalent is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional PSM strategy development and deployment across APAC.
• Deliver PSM training programs to leadership and technical staff.
• Provide technical PSM support for capital projects through all phases.
• Lead investigations of process safety incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and execute regional PSM audit schedules and report findings.
