Job summary

Cohere is expanding its APAC presence and seeking a seasoned communications leader to stand up our PR and corporate communications function in the region. You will partner with global teams to tailor regional messaging for governments, enterprises, and partners, ensuring alignment with Cohere's mission.

You will lead hiring, agency management, and the development of crisis-ready communications, while driving creative, data-informed storytelling across APAC.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years in-house corporate communications experience.
• 5+ years of people management.
• Proven ability to hire and manage PR agencies.
• Experience in policy and regulatory communications.
• Exceptional writing and ability to distill complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a new APAC PR and Communications function from the ground up.
• Partner with global teams to craft regional communications plans for governments and enterprises.
• Develop rapid response capabilities and manage executive speaking engagements.
• Oversee earned media, owned channels, and internal communications across APAC.
• Drive data-driven insights to inform regional communications strategies.
