Job summary

AP Sensing Asia PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer focused on the Power Transmission & Distribution sector across APAC.

You’ll collaborate with the local team to sell fiber optic sensing solutions, develop and maintain a healthy pipeline, and support bid qualifications and technical clarifications. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, IT or business, at least five years in B2B sales, and knowledge of the electric T&D market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, IT or business with strong technical aptitude.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or business development in B2B environments of explainable technologies.
• Understanding of the electric T&D market is advantageous.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sell solutions to different verticals with a strong focus on the power transmission and distribution (T&D) industry.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities to support business growth in the APAC region.
• Follow up on proposals and provide customer support on bid qualifications and technical clarifications.
• Present solutions in client meetings and engage with clients and consultants to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Ensure CRM data is updated and maintained.
• Promote the company’s brand and solutions to key stakeholders and keep them informed about new products and offerings.
• Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Manager and Business Development Managers for guidance.
