Job summary

Gates in Singapore seeks a Manager PT Product Development to lead the development and qualification of power transmission belt products and systems from concept through volume production for the APAC region, driving revenue and profitability goals. The role requires proven experience in product, process and materials development and engineering.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain and commercial teams to translate customer needs into technical priorities,

Qualifications

Bachelors in engineering or applied field.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical focused programs.
Detail oriented with clear communication of status.
Ability to multitask and prioritize actions.
Drive rapid development and implementation.
Leadership to grow customer base for Gates.

Responsibilities

Lead development and qualification of new power transmission belt products and systems.
Define product specs and technical requirements from customer needs.
Drive development activities for performance, quality, cost and timing.
Ensure compliance with technical, quality, regulatory and manufacturing requirements.
Establish testing, validation and qualification plans for new products.
Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability and manufacturability.
Develop APAC product development roadmap and strategy.
Monitor program performance and communicate status to stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate resources across locations.
