Job summary

Barrington James is seeking an experienced Business Development Director for APAC in Singapore to identify and secure pharmaceutical assets across international markets. You will drive growth with an international network and focus on US, Europe, Japan and other key markets.

You will lead opportunities from initial assessment through negotiation and contract execution, working closely with regulatory, medical and market access teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in pharma business development and licensing.
• Proven track record sourcing assets internationally.
• Strong understanding of APAC regulatory and market access dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source innovative pharmaceutical assets with potential across APAC.
• Build and leverage relationships with pharma, biotech and asset owners across markets.
• Assess opportunities across therapy areas, pricing, timelines and competition.
• Advise senior leadership on prioritised assets and portfolio opportunities.
• Lead opportunities from initial assessment to valuation, negotiation and contract execution.
• Collaborate with regulatory, medical and market access teams to execute deals.
• Provide strategic input into selected M&A opportunities.
