Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Director of Payroll to lead the international payroll function from Singapore. You will manage end-to-end payroll for APAC entities and oversee compliance, systems integration, and partnerships with third-party providers.

This role requires a strong background in global payroll, Workday HRIS, and a track record of improving processes to support rapid international expansion. A hybrid work arrangement is available in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years payroll operations experience, with 5+ years international payroll.
• Experience with various compensation types (regular, off-cycle, severance, taxable benefits, equity).
• Knowledge of international payroll regulations and compliance.
• Experience with Workday HRIS and PwC GPP platform preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll for APAC international entities.
• Support expansion of payroll operations to new countries.
• Ensure tax and employment law compliance across jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers.
• Process international payroll reports and analytics for management.
