Zusammenfassung

Direct Search Global is seeking an experienced Sales Manager based in Singapore to drive growth of a loading computer software portfolio across the APAC region. You will develop new business, expand the customer base and hit regional sales targets while engaging with shipowners and offshore companies.

You will work with international product and technical teams to tailor solutions, present proposals, and manage the full sales cycle from lead to closure, traveling as needed to support customers

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Maritime Studies, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of proven sales experience involving ship-performance systems, energy-management solutions, marine software, electrical engineering or automation technology.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute sales strategies for maritime loading computer and related software solutions across the APAC region.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the product portfolio.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the maritime and offshore sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards and other industry stakeholders.
• Understand customers’ operational and technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, technical proposals, quotations and commercial offers.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and customer engagement through negotiation and contract closure.
• Coordinate with global product, engineering and technical-support teams on customer requirements.
• Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, networking sessions and other market-development activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and developments in maritime digitalisation and vessel performance.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records and pipeline reports.
• Support customer onboarding and ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation and after-sales support.
• Perform other sales and business-development duties assigned by management.
