Job summary

Our client, a well-established Asset Management firm, seeks a Head of Institutional Sales to lead and expand its institutional business across the APAC region, with a focus on Singapore, Australia, Japan, and Korea. This strategic role requires building and strengthening relationships with major institutional investors and driving growth initiatives across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in institutional sales or related client coverage within asset management or financial services.
• Established APAC investor networks, particularly in Singapore, Australia, Japan, and Korea.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute institutional BD strategies across APAC, focusing on Singapore, Australia, Japan, Korea.
• Build and deepen relationships with institutional investors (sovereign funds, pensions, insurers, endowments, family offices).
• Lead full sales lifecycle: prospecting, meetings, investment presentations, RFP/DDQ, mandate negotiations, onboarding, post-sales management.
• Collaborate with investment, product, and marketing teams to deliver client-focused solutions and presentations.
• Represent the firm in final presentations, due diligence, and industry events.
• Monitor market trends and investor needs to inform regional growth and product positioning.
