Job summary

Nscale APAC is seeking an AI Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our Support and Operations team. You will handle day-to-day tickets, perform GPU node triage, hardware remediation, and contribute to runbooks while collaborating with Engineering on incidents and changes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in infrastructure support, strong GPU diagnostics, CLI and networking skills, and a growth mindset. Expect on-call and occasional travel to customer locations as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infrastructure support or similar customer-facing environments.
• Proven ability to explain technical issues clearly and handover effectively.
• Strong GPU/hardware troubleshooting skills with diagnostics experience.
• Proficient CLI usage, systemd, filesystems, and networking basics.
• ITSM discipline with process understanding and good documentation.
• Observability mindset with dashboards/alerts and data gathering.
• Scripting basics in Bash or Python; Git version control experience.
• Foundational platform/storage/networking knowledge; willingness to learn.
• Growth mindset; collaborative and adaptable in fast-moving settings.

Responsibilities

• Join support rotation and manage day-to-day tickets and alerts.
• Triages GPU nodes and performs hardware troubleshooting and RMA evidence prep.
• Run diagnostics and capture evidence, handing over to next engineer.
• Assist with storage and data-path investigations on high-performance platforms.
• Record and communicate tickets clearly; coordinate with customers and teams.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and triage; contribute to runbooks and improvements.
• Participate in changes under peer review and risk assessments.
• Maintain DCIM/NetBox accuracy; support automation and tooling.
• Be escalation point for onsite DC staff; travel as needed for deployments.
• Learn platform fundamentals and document validated steps for training.
