Job summary

Airwallex, a Singapore/San Francisco headquartered fintech, seeks a Senior Manager of Financial Partnerships to expand and strengthen the global partner ecosystem. You will drive Local Payment Methods infrastructure across APAC while managing strategic relationships with financial institutions and payment partners.

The role requires proactive problem solving, deep payments experience, and strong stakeholder management in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with eWallets, BNPLs, PSPs, financial institutions, card schemes, or payment networks.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the LPM partnership strategy for APAC (incl. Greater CN, KR, SEA) to support Airwallex’s global growth.
• Own and grow our most strategic partner relationships—serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring strong collaboration and commercial success.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to ensure Airwallex maintains a leadership position in global payments.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard new partners, driving the commercial and legal contracting process for LPMs, schemes, and bank transfer solutions.
• Manage partner relationships and commercial growth, while proactively resolving complex escalations related to onboarding, compliance, and transaction stability.
• Establish yourself as an industry thought leader, representing Airwallex in partner meetings, industry events, and forums.
