Job summary

Fugro seeks an AI Architect to lead secure, scalable AI architectures for APAC deployments, ensuring governance and data sovereignty. You will set standards, patterns and guardrails, guiding the team in building advanced AI and automation solutions for the Marine Ground Digital Twin Platform.

The role is a 3-year fixed-term contract in Singapore open to SG/PR candidates, with responsibilities spanning architecture design, cloud strategy, MLOps and security governance to deliver reliable,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering/Data/AI.
• 8+ years of experience in solution, software, data or enterprise architecture.
• Experience using data platforms, data lakes, lakehouses or data warehouses for governed analytics and AI use cases.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data access, analysis and preparation.
• Understanding of security-by-design, privacy-by-design, data governance, and access control.

Responsibilities

• Architecture Design & Standards: design scalable, secure, cost-efficient AI architectures; enforce standards and guardrails.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: architect solutions across Azure, AWS and compliant options; multi-cloud and hybrid design.
• AI Platform & Model Strategy: define patterns for experimentation, deployment, monitoring and retraining; lane for MLOps/LLMOps.
• Security & Governance: embed encryption, access controls, audit logging; align with global governance.
