Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Singapore seeks an Executive Director, AI Tech Delivery Lead to build and own the AI delivery capability across APAC. Lead cross-functional pods, design scalable delivery models, and drive rapid, measurable outcomes in enterprise automation and AI deployments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology leadership experience in banking or regulated industries.
• 5+ years delivering AI, Generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions in production.
• Experience with enterprise automation platforms (Power Platform / Power Automate, UiPath) and AI integration.
• Good working knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and other cloud AI platforms (AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI).
• Cloud-native architectures, data lakehouse/data mesh, and API-driven integration expertise.
• Hands-on with large language models and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Strong governance, risk management, and regulatory-compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Build-Out Technology Solutioning and Delivery Capability for APAC AI CFT initiatives.
• Own end-to-end design for enterprise automation solutions across APAC.
• Define reference architectures, design patterns, and accelerators for repeatable use-cases.
• Ensure designs meet enterprise architecture, security, data governance, and regulatory standards.
• Drive agile delivery of AI solutions with MVP to production-grade deployment; track and report KPIs.
