Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies is seeking an APAC EHS Manager to own EHS execution across the Asia Pacific region and support Emerging Markets and Travel Retail. The role requires coordinating with Global EHS and regional stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

The position can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong, with responsibilities spanning governance, program execution, and culture building, including sustainability initiatives and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) within multinational environments.
• Experience supporting regional or multi-country operations and influencing stakeholders.
• Multilingual: English plus additional Asia Pacific languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional governance and oversight of EHS compliance across APAC and support Emerging Markets and Travel Retail in proximity.
• Drive and own the execution of APAC EHS programs and initiatives, aligning with regional strategy and global standards.
• Strengthen and continuously improve EHS performance and culture across the region, embedding proactive risk prevention.
• Partner with APAC affiliates, brands, cross-functional teams and Global EHS to implement regional priorities.
• Provide regional coordination and oversight of EHS activities, track performance, escalate issues, and close actions.
• Support the delivery of regional sustainability initiatives (energy, waste, water) in line with corporate goals.
• Act as a trusted APAC EHS SME, providing guidance for regional and local decision-making.
• Drive employee engagement through training, communications, and safety recognition programs.
