Job summary

BNY invites applications for Senior Vice President, Digital Asset Operations in Singapore. You will lead APAC digital asset operations, collaborating with product, engineering, compliance, risk and legal teams to ensure secure, scalable processes and high-quality service for institutional clients across the region.

The role requires a security‑first mindset, banking/fintech expertise, and hands-on leadership to optimize custody, transaction processing, key management, wallets, and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in operations management, preferably in banking/fintech/digital assets.
• 2+ years of blockchain technology and digital asset operations knowledge.
• Experience in regulated environments with controls, risk awareness and service delivery.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of the APAC Digital Asset Operations model with global priorities.
• Ensure consistent, controlled, and efficient delivery of regional services.
• Coordinate day-to-day operational matters, issues, and escalations in APAC.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to maintain a resilient environment.
• Translate business objectives into practical operational plans and improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and controls.
• Lead and develop the APAC Digital Asset Operations team.
• Support readiness for new products, clients, asset classes, and market expansion.
• Maintain controls, reconciliations, escalation frameworks, and support models.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Control teams for regulatory adherence.
• Provide input on platform changes, automation, and operational processes.
• Monitor and report KPIs, service levels, and risk indicators for APAC.
• Use data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrate leadership and collaboration across multiple functions.
• Deliver a strong client experience through operational excellence.
