Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited is seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Specialist Solutions Architect to lead enterprise data initiatives and guide regional opportunities in ASEAN. You will partner with field sales, mentor others, and represent AWS at industry events.

The role focuses on data lakehouse architectures, analytics modernization, and driving adoption of AWS data services across customers and partners in the region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics architecture, or data platform consulting, with at least 3 years in a customer-facing solutions architecture or technical pre-sales role.
• Deep understanding of modern data platforms including data lakes, data warehouses, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technical engagements with enterprise customers in the data and analytics domain.
• Experience building and sustaining executive-level technical relationships (CDO, CTO, VP of Data/Engineering level).
• Knowledge of architecting data and analytics solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with field sales teams to lead technical strategy on complex data and analytics deals - from early discovery through architecture design, proof of concept, and commitment.
• Building and owning senior executive relationships (CDOs, CTOs, VPs of Data & Engineering) to position AWS as the platform of choice for enterprise data workloads.
• Representing AWS as a thought leader at large industry conferences, customer summits, and executive forums - delivering keynotes, technical deep-dives, and panel discussions on data strategy, lakehouse architectures, and analytics modernization.
• Developing accelerators, reference architectures, and enablement content in the data and analytics domain that help field sales teams, partners, and customers adopt AWS data services faster and with confidence.
• Mentoring and uplifting specialist and generalist SAs - raising the technical bar on data and analytics engagements and building a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Navigating competitive dynamics with incumbent data platforms and articulating AWS's differentiated value for enterprise data workloads.
• Identifying patterns across customer data engagements and codifying them into repeatable plays that scale impact across the region.
