Job summary

Nscale seeks an SVP, DC (APAC) to lead design and construction across the region, turning a multijurisdictional pipeline into reliable, revenue-generating infrastructure.

You will define delivery models, build a regional leadership team, manage multi-billion dollar CapEx, and align with regulatory, procurement, and commercial needs while driving safety, quality, and speed. This role shapes procurement, governance, and commissioning for operational readiness and scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or IT required.
• 15–20 years in large-scale infrastructure or data centre construction.
• Proven leadership of multi-country, multi-billion-dollar capital programmes.
• Experience building and scaling delivery platforms, not just delivering projects.
• Strong APAC market knowledge including regulatory, labour, and supply chain dynamics.
• Deep technical familiarity with data centre infrastructure (power, cooling, redundancy, commissioning).
• Extensive commercial experience, including structuring and negotiating large-scale contracts and supplier frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement APAC-wide construction delivery model (org structure, governance, standards, processes).
• Establish scalable, multi-country execution frameworks balancing central control with local agility.
• Standardise design, procurement, and delivery methodologies for faster deployment with quality.
• Oversee a portfolio of concurrent hyperscale and edge data centre builds across APAC.
• Drive schedule certainty and capital efficiency across projects; implement controls and reporting.
• Lead complex contract negotiations, risk allocation, and supplier frameworks.
• Build and lead a senior regional leadership team across APAC markets.
• Align construction priorities with commercial pipeline, financing, and customer commitments.
