Optiver is seeking a Data Center Engineer based in Singapore to maintain and optimise the APAC data center. This role involves supporting data centre operations, managing installations, and executing infrastructure changes. The ideal candidate has a strong technical skill set, including working knowledge of data centers and cable systems, and is ready to lead projects in a high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with power and communications cabling standards.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced environments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours outside of regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and optimising data center and exchange colocation environments.
• Installing and cabling switches, servers, and appliances.
• Planning and executing data center build‑outs and new colocation deployments.

Skills

Experience working in modern, large-scale data centers

Basic server operating system installation and configuration skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
