Job summary

Autonomai Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician to maintain and optimize data center and exchange colocation environments for a high-performance trading platform across APAC. You will own physical build-outs, cabling, and hardware, shaping regional infrastructure planning.

Responsibilities include installing gear, coordinating smart hands, managing power and space, and collaborating with vendors on logistics and documentation. Travel across APAC sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale data center environments.
• Ability to identify network hardware internals and server components.
• Structured copper and fiber cabling knowledge.
• Cable testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of change control processes.
• Basic server OS install and configuration skills.
• Willingness to travel across APAC sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and cable switches, servers and appliances across local and regional sites.
• Coordinate smart hands and remote technicians across APAC data centers.
• Manage power, space and capacity planning.
• Perform break-fix repairs on hardware components.
• Plan and execute build-outs, relocations and new colocation deployments.
• Work with regional teams and vendors on equipment logistics and documentation.
