Job summary

XTX Markets is expanding its Datacentre Operations team in Singapore and is looking for an experienced Datacentre Engineer. This role focuses on hands-on physical datacentre work including server racking, cabling, and network deployment.

You will supervise large projects and maintain infrastructure, ensuring effective operations. A strong background in low-latency trading infrastructure and networking is essential. The position offers the opportunity for occasional international travel within the APAC region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working in datacentres or infrastructure operations.
• Proven experience with low-latency trading infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills for vendor coordination and exchange integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute deployment of physical infrastructure in APAC datacentres.
• Supervise and execute large projects like colocation setup and expansions.
• Maintain an orderly datacentre infrastructure with structured cabling.

Skills

Hands-on experience with low-latency trading infrastructure

Network routing knowledge: BGP, OSPF, multicast

Experience with switches/routers

Comfortable working inside servers

Hands-on experience with fibre optics
