Job summary

XTX Markets is expanding its Datacentre Operations team in Singapore and is seeking a datacentre engineer with networking experience. The role focuses on hands-on physical datacentre tasks, including server racking, cabling, and project management activities in collaboration with various teams.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in datacentre operations and hands-on knowledge of low-latency trading infrastructure. Flexibility to work weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in datacentres or infrastructure operations.
• Hands-on experience with low-latency network design.
• Proven experience with APAC colocation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute deployment of physical infrastructure.
• Supervise and execute large projects in datacentres.
• Install and maintain datacentre infrastructure.

Skills

Low-latency trading infrastructure experience

Hands-on experience with switches/routers

Network routing knowledge: BGP, OSPF, multicast

Comfortable working inside servers

Excellent communication skills
