Job summary

STONEX FINANCIAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Commodity Sales professional to build a new book of customers in the APAC region. The role focuses on introducing futures and OTC products and expanding risk management offerings to corporate clients.

Candidates with existing books and experience at commodity risk management firms in Asia are highly regarded. Travel to conferences and active client engagement are expected as part of performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree required.
Futures and OTC trade execution experience highly regarded.
Language skills considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

Identify new clients to onboard and build a profitable book of business.
Represent the business at trade conferences, seminars and symposiums to sell.
Familiarize and introduce company products to a new client base.
Educate customers on commodities trading and risk management – futures and OTC.
Assist with onboarding of new clients and related procedures.
Respond to inquiries from corporate website and other marketing programs.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with commodity industry experts.
Provide subsidized educational support to the successful candidate where necessary.
Identify, verify, analyze and support oversight for trading risks.
Capture and consider all material market risks.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
