Job summary

Datalec Precision Installations (DPI) in Singapore seeks a Commercial Manager APAC to drive revenue growth, lead regional partnerships, and shape commercial strategies across the Asia-Pacific region.

You will identify opportunities, align customer needs with DPI solutions, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product Management, Finance, and Leadership to deliver regional objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification desirable.
• Proficiency in commercial analysis, CRM systems, and business reporting tools.
• Proven experience in commercial management, business development, strategic planning, or related commercial role.
• Strong understanding of APAC markets, customers, and business environments.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver growth opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working across multiple countries and cultures within APAC.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively in a matrix organisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion across APAC.
• Identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and strategic partnerships.
• Support the development of regional business plans and growth initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted commercial advisor to customers, ensuring alignment between customer needs and DPI solutions.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions where required.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
• Analyse commercial performance metrics and recommend improvements to business outcomes.
• Support forecasting, pipeline management, and regional reporting activities.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product Management, Finance, and Leadership teams to deliver regional objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational effectiveness.
• Contribute to the successful execution of strategic projects across the APAC region.
• Track and report on key commercial KPIs and growth targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, governance requirements, and regional regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise commercial processes and customer engagement.
• Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties.
• Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company and group policies and procedures.
