Job summary

CAA Portas, a division of Creative Artists Agency, is the leading management consulting firm dedicated to sport, with APAC focus. The Commercial Accountant will lead financial planning, analysis and reporting for APAC, partnering with Consulting and Support teams to drive performance.

The role covers monthly accounts, forecasts, tax compliance, payroll support in Singapore, and statutory audits for Singapore/Japan, reporting to the Regional Partner.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in a high-growth sport or professional services organisation as a Commercial Accountant/Finance Business Partner.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years post-qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts for the APAC region with variance analysis and forecasts.
• Oversee month-end close processes and internal controls.
• Maintain revenue forecast trackers for APAC and provide actionable insights to the Regional Partner.
• Coordinate project management system maintenance for APAC in collaboration with the team and system provider.
• Monitor project budgets, raise cost overruns, and seek approvals under the authority framework.
• Administer the fee estimator process and provide pricing guidance as needed.
• Issue sales invoices timely in line with contracts for the region.
• Support contract execution with the Legal team and GST returns filing.
• Assist payroll for Singapore entities and perform reconciliations.
• Lead statutory audits for regional entities in Singapore and Japan.
