Job summary

Wellington Management is seeking a Client Service Operations Analyst in Singapore to support day-to-day servicing of client accounts and onboarding portals. The role collaborates with Global Operations, Trading, Portfolio Implementation, and external partners to deliver reliable operational support.

You will coordinate across regions, own multiple workstreams, and help implement processes that enhance service quality while complying with the firm's risk framework.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with working knowledge of investment management operations and custodian bank processes.
• Experience in investment operations, including custody and accounting/recordkeeping; exposure to operational risk management environments preferred.
• Solid understanding of capital markets operations, foreign exchange transactions, and their impact on recordkeeping and client portfolios.
• Knowledge of local regulatory regimes and associated operational and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities effectively.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with global stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner effectively across functions and regions.
• Advanced degrees, language skills, and/or progress toward the CFA designation viewed favorably.
• Experience using productivity, automation, or low-code tools (e.g., Copilot, Power Automate, Python, HighGear, Alteryx) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and solutions to client teams by analyzing and resolving complex issues and questions.
• Work with both internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, custodians, and global teams, to ensure smooth delivery of services.
• Develop breadth of knowledge across investment strategies and market operations, enhancing the firm's ability to serve its clients effectively.
• Develop and implement effective operational solutions, policies, and procedures to deliver high‑quality service to key stakeholders, supporting new products and services.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Leverage regional expertise, including knowledge of APAC market practices and regulatory expectations, to deliver an operating model appropriate for local client needs.
