Job summary

Flintex Consulting is seeking a Senior Procurement Leader to drive regional category strategies for cables across APAC. You will manage supplier relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and optimize spend while mitigating supply risks.

The role requires 15+ years in procurement, global leadership experience, and strong English communication. Expect heavy travel across the APAC region and close collaboration with regional/global leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years procurement experience in a corporate environment.
• At least 5 years of direct leadership in global or multi-cultural settings.
• Ability to travel throughout the APAC region.
• Experience in category management or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and regional/global strategy alignment.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional category strategies for cables in APAC.
• Build and manage supplier relationships; negotiate terms for reliable supply.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve cost savings and innovation.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and category performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Travel as needed for supplier visits and events.
