Job summary

Flintex Consulting in Singapore is seeking a Regional Procurement Category Manager - Cables to lead APAC procurement activities for the cables category.

You will develop regional category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization while ensuring supply continuity and regulatory compliance across the region. The role requires extensive leadership experience and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field with 15+ years of procurement experience.
• At least 5 years of direct leadership experience in global or multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to travel regionally and globally for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional category strategies for cables.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
• Develop and manage category budgets and forecasts to achieve targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
• Travel as needed for supplier visits and events.
