Job summary

The National University of Singapore (Office of Alumni Relations) is seeking a Manager, Alumni Engagement (Asia Pacific) to engage alumni across the APAC region outside Singapore, and to plan and deliver alumni-focused programmes and events. The role involves collaboration with overseas networks, coordinating communications, and supporting alumni leaders.

You will curate activities in gateway cities, organise industry visits, and draft speeches for NUS leaders when needed.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree with at least 5 years of proven track record in engagement, partnership or marketing.
• Self-starter who is creative, resourceful and good with people.
• Strong communication skills, with diplomacy and cultural sensitivity.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional Asian language(s) is an advantage.
• Good project management skills; meticulous and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to work and travel beyond regular hours and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage alumni residing in the Asia Pacific region outside Singapore.
• Plan, organise and deliver alumni-focused programmes, events and activities in the region.
• Collaborate with alumni networks to build a collegial community.
• Support overseas alumni leaders in communication and administration.
• Curate and organise events, industry visits and talks in gateway cities.
• Draft speeches for NUS leaders for alumni events when required.
• Work with OAR colleagues to support broader alumni initiatives.
