Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking an AI Product Specialist to define our GTM strategy and drive AI product adoption across Asia Pacific and Japan.

You will guide customer data architectures, present and demo our AI/ML suite, and act as a trusted advisor to senior executives to ensure successful data solutions using Databricks. You will collaborate with field engineers and product teams, scale your impact with SMEs, and contribute to market leadership through external thought leadership, conferences,

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Data Science, ML and 2+ years in production Gen AI.
• Hands-on experience building solutions in major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Trusted advisor to technical executives that inform strategic data decisions.
• Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives and operate cross-functionally.
• Expertise in traditional ML methodologies and large-scale production systems.
• Deep understanding of LLM application architectures (RAG, agentic, fine-tuning) and related frameworks.
• Proven pre-sales track record in competitive situations.
• Ability to define and execute strategic programs cross-functionally.
• High impact communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision and strategy for AI product adoption in APAC and Japan.
• Develop materials for the GTM team to communicate our value proposition effectively.
• Support field teams in key strategic pursuit opportunities.
• Collaborate with SMEs to scale impact across regions and empower the field team.
• Act as a thought leader to build executive-level confidence and relationships with customers.
• Present externally at conferences, events, and webinars and publish market content.
• Work with FDE teams and partners to establish best practices.
• Serve as cross-functional representative with Product Management, Product Marketing and Engineering on go-to-market motions.
