Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Legal Operations Manager to lead APAC legal operations, systems and technology initiatives. This office-based role partners with Global Legal Operations to optimize processes, implement AI-enabled tools, and drive change across the region.

You will audit current systems, gather requirements, manage contracts administration, and support data-driven reporting on metrics like cycle times and cost savings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Legal Operations or similar.
• Experience in managing senior stakeholders in a highly professional manner.
• Strong planning: project scheduling, estimating, risk mitigation, and change management.
• Solid understanding of project management techniques and best practices.
• Analytical mindset with ability to apply data and insights to drive outcomes.
• Business acumen and ability to react quickly to project needs.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills; ability to influence.

Responsibilities

• Audit and evaluate potential solutions to improve Disney LGA processes and provide clear recommendations.
• Develop and implement optimized processes for APAC Legal in collaboration with Global Legal Operations and stakeholders.
• Support testing of legal technology tools, including AI-enabled solutions.
• Gather use cases and requirements from APAC team members and translate into practical business requirements.
• Organize and coordinate pilot programs, collect user feedback and track progress of APAC legal technology initiatives.
• Work with Global Legal Operations to configure tools, develop integrations and support implementation.
• Promote adoption of existing and new tools through demonstrations, training materials and APAC Legal Insider updates.
• Support lawyers in the effective use of AI research and legal technology tools.
• Monitor industry and digital trends, particularly AI in legal practice, and share insights with the team.
• Support Global colleagues to analyze data and prepare reports on key metrics (contract volumes, cycle times, time savings, cost savings, ROI).
• Lead and maintain contracts and agreements administration support, including use of online contract management tools.
• Ensure storage systems and methodology are aligned and appropriate.
• Provide a Centre of expertise for intranet resources, processes, standards, procedures, and tools.
• Support APAC section of Legal Database including ongoing updates.
• Support the team via continuous learning and development.
