Job summary

Singapore Public Service seeks a policy and international relations professional to drive the APAC Chairmanship and advance strategic priorities in the Asia-Pacific region. You will support governance, prepare briefings, and manage engagements with accreditation bodies and regional partners.

You will collaborate across cultures, coordinate events, and ensure clear objectives with follow-through, contributing to SAC’s international affairs work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in IR, public policy or related field.
• At least 3 years in international relations, policy development, or strategic planning.
• Strong ability to analyse complex developments and translate into strategic implications.
• Experience preparing management briefs, policy papers, presentations, and senior-level materials.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across cultures and organisational boundaries.
• Good project-management and organisational skills with multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in standards, accreditation, conformity assessment, international organisations or trade work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive APAC Chairmanship and strategic plan agendas.
• Support governance roles, including reviewing structures and documentation.
• Prepare strategic briefs, talking points, and presentations for engagements.
• Track developments and provide timely follow-ups to committees and assemblies.
• Identify partnerships with accreditation bodies and regional stakeholders.
• Coordinate outreach and events with regional counterparts.
• Align internal work with division plans and establish effective workflows.
