Job summary

NetEase Games is seeking a senior Animation technical lead to own the runtime animation system for a dual-perspective shooter, continuously improving character movement, aiming, weapon handling, and combat states.

You will design, validate and implement core solutions for procedural animation, animation graphs and state orchestration across both first- and third-person perspectives, while establishing technical standards and driving cross-team delivery.

Qualifications

• Many years of experience in game animation and animation TA R&D for high-quality PvP shooters.
• Experience in runtime animation development for top-tier projects with ownership of core systems.
• Ability to define and implement animation tech standards and to guide junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Own the runtime animation system for a dual-perspective shooter, improving aiming, weapon handling, and movement.
• Design, validate, and implement core animation solutions and state orchestration across first- and third-person perspectives.
• Lead and mentor the animation TA team, setting technical standards and driving delivery with cross-team collaboration.
• Collaborate with animation, programming and design to translate solutions into executable plans and live ops.
• Drive mass production readiness and continual iteration of animation tech within the project.
