Job summary

Lonza Singapore is seeking a motivated scientist to join the Development Services Team at the Tuas site. This fully site-based role supports hands-on analytical testing and GMP-compliant data generation for antibodies and recombinant proteins.

Under supervision, you will develop/validate study protocols, perform methods such as HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis, ELISAs and qPCR, and collaborate with other analytical teams to deliver timely results and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
• Agile and fast learner with attention to detail.
• 1–2 years of lab experience in a GMP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing for antibodies and recombinant proteins.
• Under supervision, author method development/validation study protocols and reports.
• Use techniques including HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, ELISAs, and qPCR.
• Collaborate with cross-functional analytical teams to support other projects.
• Generate scientific data from experimental work for customer projects.
• Work within site/global project teams to ensure timely delivery of work stages.
• Facilitate inter-department communication in Singapore (QC/QA/SCM/EHS).
