Job summary

Lonza is a global leader in life sciences with a Singapore presence, offering exposure to biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies. The role focuses on testing and analysis to support business requirements, including final product, in-process and raw material samples, compliant with cGMP.

Education includes a degree or diploma in science; you will work with spectroscopy, chromatography (HPLC), protein concentration methods and other physicochemical assays.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in a relevant Science field or Equivalent.
• Understanding and execution of spectroscopy and other assigned methods which may include chromatography methods (HPLC), Protein Concentration (A280 or SoloVPE), potency methods and other physicochemical methods.
• Work experience preferably Lab experience in a biotech or medically related field
• Relevant experience and accomplishment to dictate final position for which the candidate may qualify
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• T o prioritize and perform the various testing/analysis in timely manner, in order to support the business requirements.
• Analysis of final product , in-process, raw material samples according to Standard Operating Procedures and Test Methods.
• Documentation and review of results in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Problem solving of analytical methods as well as troubleshooting of equipment.
• Involvement in method transfers and validation.
• Involved in equipment qualification and technical selection of QC equipment and/or standards and reagents.
• Assay trend analysis, document revision and update.
• General lab support including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory of supplies, lab supplies ordering, management of glass wares, autoclaving etc.
• Any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor/Manager
