Job summary

GSK in Singapore offers the Attach and Train Programme (AnT), a 15-month structured on-the-job training designed to build a pipeline of skilled professionals for Singapore's advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector.

As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced professionals and exposure to GMP, analytical methods and laboratory document control at a world‑leading site near Jurong. The programme welcomes Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a relevant field is required.
  • GMP knowledge and laboratory documentation experience are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure data supporting analytical methods is accurate and actionable.
  • Contribute to plans for new testing technologies and methods.
  • Able to assess changes impacting product quality and GMP compliance.
  • Lead or participate in investigations and follow-up remedial actions.
  • Draft and update laboratory documents and guidelines related to GMP.

Job description

The Attach and Train Programme (AnT) is a structured talent development programme designed to build a pipeline of skilled professionals forSingapore’s advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry, supporting both current and future workforce needs.

As a trainee, you will go through a15-month structured on-the-job trainingprogrammewith GSK, gaining hands‑on experience, industry‑relevant skills, and mentorship from experienced professionals in a world‑leading biopharmaceutical environment.

We welcome applications from both fresh graduates and mid‑career individuals who are passionate about developing a career in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector.

Due to the nature of the programme and its eligibility requirements, we can only consider Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Role Description:
  • Ensure all data supporting the analytical method are accurate and able to take correct actions to address the issue
  • Contribute to the plans for the implementation of new testing technologies and methods
  • Able to understand and assess the change analytical assessment that may have an impact on product quality, validation and/or current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance
  • Lead or participate in investigation arising from laboratory investigation, incidents recommendations remedial actions for follow‑up
  • Draft, review and update appropriate laboratory documents such as testing protocol, procedures, analytical methods and guidelines relating to GMP and operational framework of the laboratory
  • Updated with pharmacopeial and other health agencies guidelines
  • Ensures that all manufacturing raw materials / non‑routine samples and products are analyzed and tested according to the stipulated quality requirements
Education / Qualification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or relevant field of study
