Job summary

ByteDance Singapore is seeking an early-career compliance analyst to support AML operations and risk monitoring. You will execute tasks, document risks, and help implement solutions in line with policies and procedures.

You will collaborate with regional and global teams to refine monitoring rules and dashboards, analyze data with SQL/Excel, and contribute to policy development across the transaction monitoring lifecycle.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to compliance operations by executing AML-related tasks, identifying and documenting compliance risks, and implementing solutions in alignment with established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with business units to understand business models and inherent risk exposures. Detect suspicious transactions and assist in developing effective transaction monitoring rules.
• Design and maintain monitoring effectiveness matrices and dashboards to assess rule performance.
• Support the development and ongoing enhancement of policies and procedures across the transaction monitoring lifecycle, including rule validation, system optimization, and underlying data analysis.
• Coordinate with regional and global teams to support the implementation and refinement of transaction monitoring process.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders within Global Payments to ensure operational efficiency and clearly defined responsibilities.
• Support operational projects through applied project management skills and effective execution.
• Conduct data interpretation and analysis with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, Data Science or a related discipline.
• Internship experience in payment, data analysis, or related fields
• Data analytical skills and practical knowledge of SQL/Excel and other analysis tool
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
• Effective problem solver and possesses excellent time management skills
